Library Information: Open access area 2nd floor
This item is on the open shelves in the open access areas (reading rooms) of the Main Library.
The second floor is where journals (current issues and bound volumes) are kept in the Main Library.
Journals are not available for loan and can only be read in the library. Individual pages or articles can be scanned on the book scanners in the open access areas free of charge (bring a USB memory stick).
Journals published earlier than 1990 - in some subject groups, before 1971 or 2001 - are kept in the closed stacks and you will need to request them on CatalogPlus or (if no requestable items exist on CatalogPlus) by filling in a request form at the stack requests desk on the 1st floor.
The journals are arranged by subject areas, such as ARC for architecture, and within this subject area by call numbers (you will find those on CatalogPlus in the "GetIt" section).
