TU Wien offprints collection

The offprints collection comprises publications by members of TU Wien, such as journal articles or book chapters.

These offprints can only be used on the library premises. You can request offprints for use in the library either via CatalogPlus or at the stack requests desk on the first floor of the main library.

Before placing a request, please check whether the journal volume or book that the item appeared in is on the open shelves. (Our staff at the information desk or staff requests desk will be glad to help you with this.)

To fill in a request slip, you will need the call number and the author as stated in the item's "description" column on the online catalogue.

The offprint will be fetched from the closed stacks and lodged at the stack requests desk, where you can borrow it for use in the library.

Collected Offprints: "Gesammelte Sonderdrucke"

Very old offprints will often only have records on the online catalogue for individual authors where the title is "Gesammelte Sonderdrucke". In the full view of the record you will find a link to the scanned catalogue card, which lists the individual papers included in the offprints collection for this author.

To request one of these papers, note down the author, title, and call number, if stated on the card.
